Generally, those who speak about Dravidian ideology tend to write fictional narratives in the name of history. Later, they themselves speak about those books as if they are historical evidence. One such person who speaks without any historical evidence is T. S. Krishnavel. In one of his videos, the so-called Dravidian model historian T. S. Krishnavel claimed that the word Murugan does not even appear in the Sangam literature. In a previous video, we had already responded to him by providing evidence of the places where the name Murugan appears in Sangam literature. In the same interview, he also claims that in Tamil there are no words where the letter “ரு” appears after the letter “மு” in the middle of a word. Yet, according to him, it appears only in the name Murugan. Through this argument, he speaks as though the word Murugan itself is not a Tamil word.

For people like T. S. Krishnavel, and for many others who promote such Dravidian narratives, their primary task seems to be either to destroy Tamil or to belittle it. Some Tamil scholars may already have responded to what he said. Even so, for some reason I could not simply ignore his video about Murugan. For the record, I am not a believer in God. Beyond the idea of a deity, I view Murugan as our ancient forefather. Moreover, T. S. Krishnavel also belittles the Tamil language itself. Therefore, this video was created with the intention of giving him a firm response.

பொதுவாக திராவிடம் பேசுகிறவர்கள் வரலாறு என்கிற பெயரில் அவர்களே ஒரு புனைவுக்கதையை எழுதுவார்கள். பின்னர் அவர்களே, அந்தப் புத்தகத்தை வரலாற்று சான்று போல பேசுவார்கள். எந்த விதமான வரலாற்று சான்றுகளுமின்றி பேசும் திராவிட தற்குறிகளில் ஒருவர்தான் TS கிருஷ்ணவேல். ஒரு காணொளியில், திராவிட மாடல் வரலாற்று ஆய்வாளர் TS கிருஷ்ணவேல், முருகன் என்ற சொல்லே சங்க இலக்கியங்கள்ல இல்லையென்று சொல்லிருயிந்தார். முந்தைய காணொளியில் முருகனுடைய பெயர் சங்க இலக்கியங்களில் எங்கேல்லாம் இருக்கிறதென்று சான்றுகளோடு அவருக்கு பதில் சொல்லியிருந்தோம்.

அதே நேர்காணலில், இடையின ‘ரு’ என்ற எழுத்து ‘மு’ என்ற எழுத்துக்குப் பின்னால் வருவது போல தமிழில் வார்த்தைகளே கிடையாது. ஆனால், முருகன் என்ற பெயருக்குப் பின்னால் மட்டும் வருகிறது என்று சொல்கிறார். முருகன் என்ற சொல்லே, தமிழ்ச்சொல் இல்லையென்பது போல பேசியிருக்கிறார். TS கிருஷ்ணவேல் என்று தற்குறிக்கும் சரி, ஏனைய திராவிட மந்தைகளுக்கும் சரி, தமிழை அழிப்பது அல்லது பழிப்பது, இந்த இரண்டு மட்டுமே அவர்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்ட முதன்மையான பணி.

அவர் பேசியதற்கு ஏற்கனவே சில தமிழறிஞர்கள் பதிலுரை தந்திருக்கக்கூடும். இருப்பினும், என்னால் ஏனோ அவர் முருகனைப் பற்றி காணொளியை எளிதாகக் கடந்து போக முடியவில்லை. இத்தனைக்கும் நான் கடவுள் நம்பிக்கை உள்ளவனன்று. கடவுள் என்பதைக் கடந்து முருகன் என்பவன் நமது முப்பாட்டன் என்றெ பார்க்கிறேன். மேலும், TS கிருஷ்ணவேல் தமிழ் மொழியையும் சிறுமைப்படுத்துகிறார். அதனால், அவருக்கு பதிலடி கொடுத்தே ஆக வேண்டுமென்ற எண்ணத்தில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டதுதான் இந்தக் காணொளி. காணொளியைப் பார்த்துத் தங்களின் கருத்துகளைப் பதிவிடுங்கள்.
